'One-time for a life-time’ Membership

Effective December 2019, YWCA Muskoka is now offering lifetime memberships on a sliding scale starting at $25. Like many charities, we rely on individual donations, project grants and sponsors. Your membership fee will help build future leaders, help build economic and personal resiliency and help us advocate for a society that ensures all women, youth and gender-diverse people are thriving.

A charitable tax receipt for the full amount of your membership fee will be provided for all membership fees paid over $25.

YWCA Muskoka members receive:

• Invitations to participate and engage in conversations through new member salons and ‘short and sweet’ surveys, which help inform the direction of local initiatives and can help inform messaging and YWCA advocacy priorities to government.

• Better communication and less paper! A subscription to our monthly communications through our e-newsletter, which gives you first hand notification of coming events and programs and shares stories of impact made on behalf of those served by YWCA Muskoka.

• Invitations to Annual General Meetings and voting rights on major decisions impacting YWCA Muskoka.  (note: only those over 18 are allowed to vote  according to not-for-profit regulations)

• Advance notice of special events such as She Talks Muskoka and important community updates. 

• Volunteer opportunities throughout the year where you make a direct difference in the lives of women, youth and gender-diverse people. 

• Recognition of your milestone YWCA Member Anniversaries (e.g. 10 years, 20 years, etc.).
