YWGRO is a group mentorship program that brings girls aged 9-13 and young women mentors aged 16-29 together to participate in fun, creative activities and community outreach.

YWGRO is a group mentorship program that brings girls aged 9-13 and young women mentors aged 16-29 together to participate in fun, creative activities and community outreach. The group will meet twice a month on Tuesday’s after school in Bracebridge running from October 24th until June 5th.


Research shows that group mentorship has many positive effects for girls including:



  • Gained Confidence
  • Finding their Voice
  • Healthy Relationships & Positive Lifestyle
  • Sense of Belonging or Connectedness
  • Increased Community Connections
